Portage Ventures GP Inc. in Hyderabad, India, seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure. The role centers on AWS-based Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. You will work across hybrid cloud contexts and production systems.

Responsibilities include managing Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible; deploying with Docker and Kubernetes; and implementing observability with CloudWatch, logs, and IAM/secrets practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of cloud engineering with AWS and Linux-based systems.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GoCD).
• Hands-on with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
• Experience tuning database clusters (MySQL, Cassandra or similar).
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience handling incidents and production monitoring (alerts and logs).
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience with AWS and Linux-based systems.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GoCD)
• Hands-on with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible
• Experience supporting and tuning database clusters (MySQL, Cassandra, or similar).
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Good background in handling and managing incident report
• Good experience in production both alerts and logs
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments (FinTech, healthcare, etc.) is a plus

This role expecting to follow EMEA or US/Canada time shift.
