Job summary

Tech Vedika Software is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, automate, secure, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure in a fast-paced team. The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, observability, and production reliability, with mentoring responsibilities for the engineering group.

You will drive engineering best practices and collaborate across squads to deliver resilient, secure systems while optimizing costs and performance in a Hyderabad-based environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and production environments.
• Expertise in CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform, and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS, TLS, IAM, and cloud security.
• Proven production troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or equivalent tools.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and IaC best practices.
• Deploy and operate production workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Implement monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and incident management practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, secrets management, backup, and DR.
• Develop automation and reusable infrastructure modules to boost developer productivity.
• Optimize cloud costs, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Mentor engineers and document technical decisions with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud engineering, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, observability, and production reliability, along with the ability to drive engineering best practices and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or equivalent tools.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.

• Knowledge of cloud security automation, compliance, and governance.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, SRE practices, and cloud cost optimization.
• AWS certification or equivalent practical expertise.
