Job summary

Ascentrik Research Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Associate (Neuroscience) to build and maintain a drugs, clinical trials, deals & companies intelligence database. You will lead researchers, curate comprehensive data, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strategic insights across neuroscience-focused topics.

The role involves global collaboration with UK clients, strict SOP adherence, and continuous process improvements within a fast-growing life sciences data products environment.

Qualifications

• Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology) or Master of Science (Neuroscience/Neurobiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Clinical Research, Drug Development, Genetics, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, Life Sciences).
• 2–4 years of relevant life sciences experience in clinical research, pre-clinical research, drug discovery and development, clinical trial management, clinical data management, medical writing or scientific writing.
• Preference for Neuroscience/Neurology/Neuropsychiatric experience including neurodegenerative diseases.
• Familiarity with neuroscience-focused drug development pipelines, disease pathophysiology, biomarkers, endpoints, and CNS drug development relevance.
• Ability to interpret scientific literature, clinical trial records, regulatory updates to extract structured intelligence.
• CSIR‑NET / SET / GATE qualifications highly preferred.
• Prior peer-reviewed publication is a plus.
• QC skills and Excel proficiency; secondary research experience.
• Strong project management and people management skills; excellent written and verbal communication; good reporting.
• Inquisitive mindset and dedication to continuous learning and improvement.

Position Summary:

• We are looking for a Senior Clinical Data Associate who will be working on building and maintaining a drugs, clinical trials, deals & companies intelligence database based on modular solutions focusing on various therapeutic areas.
• The content is manually curated by researchers providing in-depth data to help identify the most relevant trends in the landscape. You will be part of a global network of life science researchers working on dynamic, fast growing products in exciting, cutting‑edge life science areas.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage researchers in order to curate accurate, timely, insightful and comprehensive data and intelligence
• Identify and analyse the most relevant information for the database and its users
• Daily target planning based on influx of data volume
• Regular quality checks as per SOPs on data extracted by researchers to achieve quality benchmark
• Manage the daily activities aligned for teams productivity and quality
• Generate queries to clarify and improve the quality of the data
• Analyse and present the quality data for team and create improvement plan as required
• Independent work on specified projects as per SOP
• Review and implementation of SOPs along with continuous process improvement
• Cross-team collaboration
• Coordinate with UK based Clients on a regular basis to understand and meet the project deliverables
• Manage the activities required towards the launch of the database modules and further support the needs towards maintenance post launch.
• Tracker maintenance and update

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology etc.) or Master of Science (Neuroscience / Neurobiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Clinical Research, Drug Development, Genetics, Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, Life Sciences etc.)
• Not Eligible / Exclusions: M. Pharm Candidates with a major in Pharmacognosy or M.Sc. Candidates with a major in Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science or Ecology
• 2 to 4 years of relevant life sciences experience in fields such as Clinical Research, Pre‑Clinical Research, Drug Discovery & Development, Clinical Trial Management, Clinical Data Management, Medical Writing or Scientific Writing
• Preference will be given to Candidates with Neuroscience / Neurology / Neuro Psychiatric experience including Neurodegenerative Diseases (Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntingtons Disease etc.), Autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system, Epilepsy, Seizures, Migraines, Brain & CNS Tumours and infections, psychiatric disorders
• Familiarity with neuroscience‑focused drug development pipelines, pre‑clinical and clinical studies, clinical trial phases, disease pathophysiology, mechanisms of action, therapeutic targets, biomarkers, endpoints, clinical trial registries, and the relevance of the blood‑brain barrier to CNS drug development, drug delivery, and therapeutic efficacy would be preferred.
• Ability to interpret scientific literature, clinical trial records, press releases, company pipelines, regulatory updates, and other publicly available sources to extract accurate and structured intelligence.
• Candidates who have qualified for CSIR‑NET (Life Sciences) or SET (Life Sciences) or GATE‑BT (Biotechnology) or GATE‑XL (Life Sciences) will be highly preferred.
• Prior research publication in a peer‑reviewed journal would be an added advantage.
