Job summary

Wipro Water in Mumbai seeks a senior CAD engineer with Instrumentation/Electrical background to develop AutoCAD layouts for instrument racks, cable trays, and electrical trays within EPC projects.

You will create instrument hook-up drawings, BOQ, and assist site teams during installation, ensuring compliance with drawings and schedules.

Strong 12–15 years in cable routing, 3D CAD, SLDs, panel GA, and knowledge of plant earthing and lighting layouts is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical with 12–15 years of experience in preparation of Cable Tray Layout, Cable routing/calculating Cable length, Support Structures for Tray, Preparation of Instruments Hook Up drawings.
• 3D modeling in CAD is an added advantage; experience with SLD, Panel GA, System Architecture drawing of PLC System, Control Room Layouts, Equipment Layout, Earthing/Layout and Lighting Layout.

Responsibilities

• Creating AutoCAD layout for Instrument Cable Racks and Electrical Tray Layout, Equipment Layout, Control Room Layout.
• Creating Layout of Plant earthing, lighting.
• Creating Instruments Hook Up drawings and BOQ.
• Provide support to site for Installation of the above.
• Ability to work on multiple EPC projects simultaneously within timelines with minimal supervision.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Hands-on experience in Excel.
