Responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand.
• Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution with engineering, manufacturing, PMs, and supplier management.
• Drive purchasing activities to achieve lowest cost while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Manage assigned Purchasing Projects (cost, schedule, scope).
• Handle sensitive information with supplier leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to purchasing process improvements and train department buyers.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand.
• Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management).
• Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
• Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required).
• Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7-9 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace
• Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed
