Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in BI/Data Analytics or related field.

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to lead BI initiatives and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The role will be responsible for transforming complex and raw data into actionable business insights, developing BI solutions, overseeing analytics initiatives, and partnering with business and technical stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and business growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Data Analysis, SQL, ETL/ELT, BI dashboards, data warehousing, and reporting, along with proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

BI Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and guide the BI/Analytics team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute BI strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other functions to understand business requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable analytical and BI solutions.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and data literacy across the organization.

BI Development & Implementation

• Manage the complete BI project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, or similar BI platforms.
• Ensure BI solutions are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance.
• Work with data engineering and IT teams to improve data integration and workflows.
• Support and oversee data warehouses, data marts, ETL/ELT processes, and data models.
• Establish and maintain data governance, quality, accuracy, consistency, and security standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business challenges.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, business metrics, and performance reports.
• Prepare and present clear, actionable insights to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through data and automation.

Technical Oversight & Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging BI, analytics, and data technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve BI capabilities.
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and reporting workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and analytical processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a leadership/team management role is preferred.
• Proven experience managing BI/Analytics projects and working with business stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, validation, and data quality.
• Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as:
• Tableau
• Power BI
• Looker
• Qlik
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data marts, and data modeling.
• Experience working with databases/data platforms such as:
• SQL Server
• Redshift
• BigQuery
• Snowflake
• Experience with Google PLX is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
