• Strategic thinker with strong prioritization, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BI Analysts; task allocation, quality review, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports; own full development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Partner with data engineering on pipelines, warehousing, and semantic layers; ensure data accuracy and governance.
• Act as the primary liaison between BI and business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Ops); present insights to leadership.
• Define BI development standards, documentation, and best practices across the team.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement in BI processes and tooling.
• Experience in delivery of teams & custom delivery.

About the Role:

Leads a team of BI Analysts, owns dashboard/report delivery end-to-end, and partners with business stakeholders to turn data into decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BI Analysts task allocation, quality review, coaching, and performance feedback

Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports, owning the full development lifecycle (requirements to deployment)

Partner with data engineering on pipelines, warehousing, and semantic layers; ensure data accuracy and governance

Act as the primary liaison between BI and business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Ops); present insights to leadership

Define BI development standards, documentation, and best practices across the team

Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement in BI processes and tooling.
Experience in delivery of teams & custom delivery.

Technical Competency:

BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense (DAX, custom visuals, row-level security)

SQL: Expert-level complex joins, window functions, query optimization, stored procedures

Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse

Data Modeling: Dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schema), semantic layer design

ETL/ELT: SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica, or dbt

Programming: Python or R for analysis and automation

Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP (core data services)

Other: Advanced Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, macros), Git, Agile/Scrum tools (Jira)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in CS, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's a plus)

6+ years in BI/data analytics, including 2+ years leading or mentoring a team

Proven track record delivering BI projects end-to-end

Soft Skills

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills; able to translate technical work for non-technical audiences

Strategic thinker with strong prioritization, project management, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

BI or cloud certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist)
