Job summary

Ares Management, Mumbai, invites a skilled Business Analyst to join our client platforms team. You will translate complex business needs into clear user stories, validate requirements with stakeholders, and help shape product backlog in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 6-8 years in analysis or consulting, strong communication and documentation abilities, and experience with Jira/Confluence. Prior exposure to asset management is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of business analysis, consulting, or technology experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and PM best practices.
• Exposure to asset management, financial services, or capital markets preferred.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred.

Job Description

Primary functions & responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements and ensure alignment to business outcomes and KPI’s
• Create user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Support testing, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
• Assist with project documentation and meeting materials.
• Track action items and ensure follow-up with stakeholders.
• Develop subject matter expertise across client platforms.

Qualifications

• Comfortable presenting to business and technology leaders
• Exposure to asset management, financial services, or capital markets preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
