Job summary

CoinDCX is seeking a Lead Business Analyst in Bengaluru to translate complex business objectives into actionable insights and guide data-driven decisions across product, growth, and strategy.

You will bridge data and business strategy, leveraging cohort analyses, funnels and ML-driven experiments to inform critical priorities. Strong SQL, Python/R, and BI tools are essential, with a track record of mentoring teams and delivering impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Analyst or in a similar role with outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience in Python or R for data manipulation and automation.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and experiment designs.
• Hands-on experience with product analytics and BI tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Looker, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical recommendations to influence product, marketing and strategy.
• Design and evaluate product and growth experiments backed by solid hypotheses; build and deploy ML models where needed.
• Find insights that influence decisions on product/features from early data explorations to multivariate experiments and optimisations.
• Provide user insights through data: cohorts, segmentation, funnels and behavioural analyses in partnership with growth, product, engineering and UX.

About the Role:

This isn’t a typical Lead Business Analyst role.

You will work on initiatives that genuinely transform how finance works in India—an opportunity few roles offer. You will translate complex business objectives into actionable insights, leveraging data to uncover user behavior through cohort and funnel analysis. By bridging the gap between data and business strategy, you will enable informed product and growth decisions with strong analytical rigor.

What You’ll Do:

• Providing Analytical recommendations to influence our product, marketing and strategy
• Design and evaluate product and growth experiments backed by solid hypotheses. Build and deploy machine learning models wherever necessary
• Finding insights that influence decisions (product/features), spanning from early data explorations about user behaviour to multivariate experiments and optimisations
• Providing user insights through data: cohorts analysis, user segmentation, funnels and behavioural analyses in partnership with growth, product, engineering and UX

You’ll Excel in This Role If You:

• 5+ years of experience as an Analyst or in a similar role with Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent SQL skills and experience in at least one scripting language (Python or R) for data manipulation and automation
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and experiment designs
• Must have hands‑on experience with product analytics and BI tools like MixPanel Amplitude, Google Analytics, Looker, and Tableau

• You will be leading a team as well as contributing as an IC to some projects, and hence expected to have Strong technical skills, Strong Communication skills, experience in Business Process improvement, Mentorship and Project management experience
