Responsibilities

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support business decision-making across different functions. The role involves working with data, systems, and business processes to deliver insights, improve efficiency, and manage risk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including business users, project managers, and IT teams. Build strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and decision-making.
• Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and test plans. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders have a comprehensive understanding of the proposed solutions.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with testing teams to define test scenarios, review test cases, and participate in system testing and user acceptance testing. Ensure that solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
• Change Management: Support change-management activities by identifying and analysing the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and stakeholders. Assist in developing training materials and providing user support during implementation.
• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive informed business decisions. Use tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to IT and business analysis. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, systems, and user experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

• Business Analysis experience of 6+ years in Banking, Financial Services and/or Insurance domain. Experience in a product company would be preferred
• MBA in Finance/International Business/Marketing. Graduates in Technology would have an added advantage
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio)
• Knowledge of business process modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Understanding of database concepts and data analysis techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
