Job summary

Embassy Group seeks a senior civil engineering professional to lead building maintenance, refurbishment and waterproofing across India. The role requires planning preventive and corrective programs, supervising waterproofing repairs on roofs, basements and water bodies, and coordinating BOQs, specs and tender documents.

Qualified candidates will have 15+ years in the field, with at least 5 years in related projects, and experience with commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• At least 15 years of total experience with minimum 5 years in building maintenance, refurbishment and waterproofing repair works.
• Prefer experience with commercial buildings, IT parks, and facility management organizations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective building maintenance programs.
• Conduct condition assessments and identify defects, leakages and structural deterioration.
• Lead waterproofing works/repair works for roofs, terraces, basements, wet areas, podiums, water bodies and water-retaining structures.
• Manage refurbishment, rehabilitation and restoration projects.
• Coordinate for BOQs, technical specifications and tender documents.
• Review drawings, BOQ, specifications and methodology.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and statutory requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, costs and performance.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to senior management.
• Travel across India as required, based on project and business requirements.

Lead and manage building maintenance, waterproofing, rehabilitation and refurbishment activities to ensure asset reliability, safety, quality and lifecycle enhancement

Key responsibilities:
