Job summary

ZF Group in India is seeking a Senior BSW Developer(SoC) to shape next-generation automotive software. You will build PoCs, validate architectural decisions on MPU+MCU platforms, and design interfaces between High Level OS and RTOS domains.

Expect responsibilities for inter-processor communication concepts and rigorous debugging and validation efforts. The role requires 6–10 years in embedded software or software architecture, with hands-on experience in Linux-based environments, AUTOSAR

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in embedded software architecture and design.
• Experience with heterogeneous SoC platforms (MPU + MCU).
• Hands on knowledge of High Level OS (Linux, QNX, or similar) & RTOS environments; programming in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of inter processor communication mechanisms.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Strong system level thinking across HW–SW boundaries.
• Automotive ECU or vehicle control system experience.
• Exposure to AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive concepts & Functional safety awareness (ISO 26262).

Responsibilities

• Build PoCs and prototypes to validate architectural decisions, evaluate SoC platforms (MPU+MCU), OS stacks, middleware, and communication frameworks.
• Design and govern software partitioning and interaction between High Level OS and RTOS domains, including clear responsibility separation, performance, and real time behavior.
• Define software concepts for robust inter processor communication mechanisms aligned with automotive safety standards.
• Support integration, debugging, and validation activities
