Job summary

Consertus, Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior BIM Modeler to lead complex BIM projects, author advanced models from scans and drawings, and ensure standards are applied across programs.

You will drive model quality and help integrate BIM outputs with lifecycle management tools. Ideal candidates bring a degree in a building field with 2+ years of BIM experience, expert Revit skills, and familiarity with ISO 19650, COBie, IFC, and digital twin platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related building field.
• 2+ years of hands-on BIM modelling experience with a proven track record.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including family creation and template management.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards including ISO 19650, COBie, and IFC.
• Experience with reality capture methods including laser scanning and photogrammetry.
• Experience with digital twin platforms or lifecycle management software such as Autodesk Tandem, IBM Maximo, or Archibus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and author complex BIM models from 3D scans and 2D drawings using advanced owner-side BIM methods.
• Review and validate models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to project and organizational standards.
• Define and maintain spatial hierarchies including zones, suites, departments, and floors across active models.
• Perform model updates and gap-filling exercises, determining when data can be inferred versus when re-capture or surveying is required.
• Support the development and maintenance of team BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to integrate BIM outputs with lifecycle management processes.
• Maintain awareness of emerging trends in BIM, reality capture, and digital twin technology, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
