Job summary

Hexaware Technologies in India (Remote) is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to migrate legacy SAS reporting and data-processing workflows to Google Dataform and SQL-based pipelines. You will analyze SAS logic, understand business requirements, and implement Dataform solutions.

The role involves validating migrated reports with business and IT stakeholders, optimizing SQL, building scalable data pipelines in GCP, and coordinating UAT and sign-off.

• Implement workflow orchestration, data quality checks, and validation rules.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and transformation logic.
• Validate migrated outputs against existing SAS reports and business expectations.
• Identify and resolve gaps between SAS and Dataform functionality.
• Support requirements gathering, clarification workshops, UAT, and business sign-off.
• Resolve migration defects and document conversion outcomes.
• Use Claude or AI tools for code conversion, validation, and remediation.

Year of Experience: 7–12 years of overall BI/data engineering experience, including 3–5 years of SAS and advanced SQL, and 2–3 years of Google Cloud/Dataform experience.
