Job summary

Relic Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced backend engineer to design and build core Node.js services and REST APIs at scale.

You will own end-to-end system design—service boundaries, data flow, caching, queues, and failure modes—and ship AI/ML features, including LLM capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years building production Node.js backends for B2C products, with strong API, SQL/NoSQL knowledge, and a bias for reliable, clean code.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production backend systems in Node.js.
• Strong API design and service-oriented architecture fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with AI/native tooling and LLMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the core Node.js services and REST APIs from scratch, built to scale as we grow.
