Dormont Manufacturing Co in India is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to innovate and build scalable solutions that enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of backend engineering experience, preferably with expertise in Python and Django.

This role emphasizes strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of core Computer Science principles. Candidates will also explore AI tools to improve engineering workflows in a dynamic, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Expertise in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Django or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and REST API design.
• Exposure to machine learning/NLP concepts is a plus.

We’ll love to explore more about you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields from a tier‑1 institution—or equivalent relevant experience with a top technology company.
• 4+ years of backend engineering experience , with expertise in at least one high‑level programming language (preferably Python).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Django or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of relational databases , data modeling, and REST API design.
• Exposure to machine learning/NLP concepts is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Deep understanding of core Computer Science concepts: Algorithms, Data Structures, Object‑Oriented Design, and Databases.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into engineering workflows (e.g., for code generation, code review, testing, or documentation).
