Job summary

Kadel Labs, a startup studio, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, translating requirements into functional specs and guiding development and QA teams to effective solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in client-facing BA roles, experience with BRDs/FRDs and user stories, and active use of AI tools in daily BA tasks, data analysis, UAT support, and agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• 4–6 years of experience in client-facing Business Analyst roles.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, and user stories; assess system change impacts.
• Active use of AI tools in day-to-day BA work with prompt composition and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and produce clear requirements, use cases, workflows, and specifications.
• Evaluate processes and systems to identify improvements and practical solutions.
• Translate designs (Figma frames, mockups) into BRDs and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Lead root cause analysis of production issues and perform gap analyses with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Support UAT, training, rollout activities, and test analysis and sign-off.
• Monitor deliverables and keep stakeholders informed.

About the Role

We are looking for a SeniorBusiness Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs andtechnology. The role involves understanding stakeholder requirements,translating designs and business needs into clear functional specifications,and working closely with development and QA teams to deliver effectivesolutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using AI tools inday-to-day BA activities, analyzing data, supporting UAT, and managingstakeholders independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and produce clear,concise business requirements, use cases, workflows, and functionalspecifications
  
• Evaluate business processes and application systems to identifyimprovement opportunities and develop practical solutions
  
• Translate design artifacts (Figma frames, mockups, prototypes) intostructured requirements: BRDs, user stories with acceptance criteria, andprocess flows
  
• Lead root cause analysis of production issues and perform gapanalyses with actionable recommendations
  
• UseAI tools actively across activities likefirst-passwireframes, mockups, or diagramsdocumentation, synthesis, andanalysis work accelerating stakeholder alignment — composepurposefulprompts, evaluateoutputs critically, and ensureaccuracy beforeanything reaches stakeholders
  
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and cross-functional teams toensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements
  
• Support UAT, training, and rollout activities; facilitate testanalysis and sign-off
  
• Monitor deliverables, manage priorities autonomously, and keepstakeholder communications current
  

Required Skills &Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Science
  
• 4–6 years of experience in a client-facing Business Analyst role
  
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, and user stories; ability to assessupstream and downstream impacts of system changes
  
• Active, demonstrated use of AI tools as part of day-to-day BA work— with the ability to compose prompts and critically evaluate AI-generatedoutput for accuracy and business fit
  
• Ability to perform data analysis to support decision making,validate assumptions, and drive experimentation
  
• Experience facilitating UAT and working in Agile/Kanbanenvironments
  
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technicalaudiences
  
• High autonomy; strong stakeholder management and facilitationskills
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with team collaboration and visual tools such as MSVisio, Miro, or InVision
  
• Exposure to the mortgage industry
