Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Senior AWS & Terraform DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments while driving automation and operational excellence.

You will build and manage AWS infrastructure, develop IaC with Terraform, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud platform operations.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to improve deployment efficiency and release quality.
• Configure and manage AWS networking components, including VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, Load Balancers, and DNS services.
• Implement security best practices, including AWS WAF policies and cloud security controls.
• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and drive performance optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate deployments and enhance DevOps processes.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance, availability, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support infrastructure automation and operational processes across cloud environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, cloud architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Contribute to containerized and Kubernetes-based deployments where applicable.
