Job summary

ORMAE is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across multiple client environments. You will build production-grade infrastructure on AWS or Azure, use Terraform IaC, and enable reliable CI/CD pipelines that support rapid software delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with cloud networking architecture.
• Experience with DNS and SSL certificate management.
• Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure across multiple client environments.

This role will be responsible for building production-grade infrastructure on AWS or Azure, implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and enabling reliable CI/CD pipelines that support rapid software delivery.

You will work closely with engineering teams, client stakeholders, and architects to ensure seamless infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, and operational excellence across development, UAT, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure on AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain secure environments for development, UAT, and production deployments.
• Establish connectivity with client infrastructure and manage environment integrations.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of cloud infrastructure.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
• Automate provisioning of compute, storage, networking, and security resources.
• Implement version-controlled infrastructure and repeatable deployment processes.

CI/CD and Deployment Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
• Work with development teams to streamline deployment workflows.
• Design and manage cloud networking architecture including:
• VPC / VNet
• Subnets
• Load balancers
• Security groups
• Routing and gateways
• Ensure secure connectivity between client systems and application environments.
• Implement infrastructure security best practices.

Website & Platform Operations

• Manage DNS, domain configuration, and website infrastructure.
• Ensure high uptime and performance for hosted platforms.

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Reliability

• Monitor cloud infrastructure health and performance.
• Perform production troubleshooting and incident triage.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms.
• Maintain operational documentation and incident response procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with cloud networking architecture
• Experience with DNS and SSL certificate management
• Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure debugging skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
• Experience managing infrastructure for client-facing SaaS platforms
