Job summary

Indium Software India is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer in Bengaluru to lead automation testing efforts across UI and API layers. You will architect and implement automated frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, and collaborate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD) in Agile teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of hands-on automation, strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#, and experience with cloud

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of Automation QA experience in testing and quality engineering.
• Hands-on Playwright automation experience (minimum 3 years).
• Expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Proficient in UI and API testing and test reporting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing concepts.
• Good stakeholder management and leadership abilities.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of experience in Automation Architecture and Quality Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Playwright Automation.
• Expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong experience in UI and API testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with test reporting, logging, and monitoring solutions.
