Persistent is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the development of intelligent automation platforms, AI-powered productivity tools, and agentic applications. You will collaborate with engineering, platform, DevOps, and business teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• 5-12 years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python development and scripting.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience building internal tools, engineering productivity platforms, and workflow automation systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, REST services, and system integration patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, workflow automation, AI/ML technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise system integrations. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable automation solutions, agentic AI applications, developer productivity tools, and intelligent assistants that improve operational efficiency across engineering and business functions.
