• About the Role
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AutoCAD Developer with strong expertise in ObjectARX, C++, and .NET-based AutoCAD automation. The ideal candidate will work on developing, enhancing, and integrating custom AutoCAD tools, plugins, and automation workflows. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and product teams to create scalable and high-performance CAD automation solutions.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop AutoCAD custom plugins and tools using ObjectARX, C++, and .NET APIs.
• Build automation features to streamline drawing generation, auto dimensioning, 3D generation, 3D data review, and custom workflows. 3D/2D CAD Quality check
• Integrate AutoCAD with external applications or enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to AutoCAD extensions, API usage, and CAD data structures.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document technical designs, coding standards, and best practices.
• Provide support for deployment, testing, and post-release enhancements.

• Required Technical Skills
• 5+ years hands-on experience in AutoCAD plugin development.
• Strong expertise in:
• ObjectARX / ARX SDK
• C++ (advanced) will be added advantage for using wrappers
• .NET Framework / .NET Core, specifically C# for AutoCAD .NET API (Managed .NET API)
• AutoLISP (optional but preferred)
• Experience with:
• AutoCAD runtime extension development
• Event handling, custom entity creation, database manipulation
• Multi-threaded programming (C++ / .NET)
• UI development for CAD tools (WPF/WinForms)
• Strong understanding of CAD data structures, drawings, layers, blocks, and geometry and configuration libraries.-
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
• Experience with Revit API, Navisworks API, Inventor API.
• Knowledge of cloud integrations or automation using REST APIs.
