Job summary

LRQA is seeking an experienced food safety auditor to join its team in India. The role involves independent verification of management systems in the food industry, both solo and in teams, with opportunities to lead and contribute to client improvements and service development.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in food quality and safety, with 3rd party auditing qualifications (FSSC 22000, BRCGS-food, ISO 22000/9001, HACCP) and strong leadership and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food industry (process and/or technology).
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in quality management and food safety in the food industry.
• Auditing qualification for 3rd party auditing in FSSC 22000, BRCGS-food, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP.
• Bonus: FSSC-packaging or BRCGS-Packaging will be an advantage.
• Analytical approach with proactive attitude and assertiveness.

Responsibilities

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the food industry (process and/or technology)
• Adequate working experience in quality management and food safety in the food sector
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience (in relation to food production & technology) in the food industry.
• Holding a qualification for 3rd party auditing in FSSC 22000, BRCGS-food, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP
• Additional qualification for FSSC -packaging or BRCGS-Packaging will be an advantage
• Analytical approach with proactive attitude and assertiveness
• Leadership and management experience
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent language skills both spoken and written in English
