Job summary

PW (PhysicsWallah) is seeking a YouTube Growth & Channel Manager for the Punjab Exams category to drive content strategy, channel growth, SEO, analytics and performance optimization. You will coordinate with faculty, editors, and design teams to implement keyword research, metadata optimizations, and trend-based topics, aiming to increase organics, views and student acquisition.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on YouTube experience, strong analytics, and a deep understanding of the EdTech

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in YouTube Channel Management and YouTube SEO.
• Strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm and content growth strategies.
• Hands‑on experience with YouTube Analytics, Google Trends, keyword research, and SEO tools.
• Strong understanding of thumbnails, titles, CTR, retention, and watch time.
• Experience in EdTech, Government Exams, or competitive exam content will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete YouTube channel operations for the Punjab Exams category.
• Develop YouTube content strategy based on student demand, search trends, competition, and exam cycles.
• Optimise video titles, descriptions, tags, keywords, playlists, and metadata.
• Conduct keyword research and YouTube SEO.
• Analyse YouTube Analytics and identify growth opportunities.
• Improve CTR, watch time, audience retention, impressions, and overall channel performance.
• Coordinate with faculty, video editors, thumbnail designers, and content teams.
• Suggest video topics based on search volume and student intent.
• Track competitors and trending content in the Punjab Exams space.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Work towards increasing organic reach, views, subscribers, and student acquisition.
