Job summary

BDO India is recruiting for a Core Transfer Pricing role in Bengaluru. The position involves advising on TP methodologies, business model optimization, and cost allocations, with exposure to APA processes and cross-border filings.

You will conduct benchmarking studies, prepare TP reports, and interact with tax authorities, ITAT, and HC, while supporting training and knowledge sharing within the team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting advisory engagements: business model optimization, legal matters, TP methodologies, and cost allocations.
• Assisting in APA program phases: coordination with clients and APA authorities.
• Preparing transfer pricing reports and contemporaneous documentation.
• Filing accountant's report in Form 3CEB for cross-border transactions.
• Conducting benchmarking studies using Indian/foreign databases.
• Drafting submissions for tax authorities and appeals.
• Representing clients before ITAT & HC and tax authorities.
• Advising on BEPS-related compliance and advisory.
• Researching transfer pricing issues from a litigation perspective.
• Managing projects, clients, and time efficiently.
• Preparing presentations for training and eminence-building.
• Knowledge sharing and team-building activities.

Designation:

Core Transfer Pricing Role & responsibilities:

• Assisting in advisory engagements ranging from business model optimization, legal matters, TP methodologies, business restructuring, cost allocations etc.
• Assisting in various phases of Advance Pricing Agreement program including coordination and liasoning with the client and APA authorities.
• Preparation of transfer pricing reports to be maintained as contemporaneous documentation.
• Preparation and filing of accountant's report in Form 3CEB stating the cross-border transactions.
• Conducting benchmarking studies using Indian / foreign databases.
• Drafting of submissions, appeals, etc. to be filed with the respective tax authorities.
• Assisting in representing seniors / counsels clients before the ITAT & HC.
• Representing clients before the tax authorities and appellate bodies.
• Assisting in compliance and advisory arising from BEPS initiative.
• Research and analysis of the transfer pricing technical points from the litigation standpoint.
• Effective project management, client management and time management.
• Preparation of presentations for knowledge building, training programs and eminence building activities.
• Knowledge sharing and imparting training to team members and team building exercise.
