Job summary

Riveron India is seeking a qualified professional with 3–5 years of transaction experience in M&A to support buy-side and sell-side due diligence, quality of earnings, and working capital analysis. You will interact with executive teams, prepare client-ready deliverables, and collaborate across project workstreams.

The role requires strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and a foundation in accounting or finance. Travel to client sites may be required as part of project work.

Qualifications

• CPA/Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance/ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant transaction experience, including EBITDA, working capital, and cash flow analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, incl. SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, etc.

Responsibilities

• Use financial acumen, including GAAP knowledge, to assist clients on financial, operational, and tax issues related to M&A transactions.
• Assist in preparation of quality of earnings and networking capital analysis for buy- and sell-side deals.
• Participate in executive management interviews with target companies.
• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project team to manage workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant transaction experience, including experience analyzing a target company’s quality of earnings (EBITDA), networking capital, and cash flows
• Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of formulas such as SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, etc.

What You’ll Do:

• Use financial acumen, including knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, to assist clients on a variety of financial, operational, and tax issues associated with M&A transactions. Conduct and review research and analysis of a wide range of financial and accounting issues related to business transactions
