Job summary

Nation with NaMo, a leading political consulting organization in India, invites applications for a contractual role till June 2027. You will conduct secondary research, monitor developments, and engage with grassroots networks to deliver actionable insights.

The role requires field work, report preparation, and coordination across internal teams. Eligibility includes 2–4 years in political consulting or related fields; UPSC mains cleared candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in political consulting, field research, public policy, governance, UPSC, and journalism (political beats) or related domains.
• Candidates who have cleared UPSC mains are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research to gather political, social, and constituency-level insights.
• Monitor political developments, electoral trends, and key policy issues.
• Engage with local stakeholders, community members, and grassroots networks to collect qualitative and quantitative information.
• Prepare reports and present actionable insights based on field findings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and field personnel to ensure timely execution of assigned projects.
• Track campaign activities and maintain accurate records and operational reports.
• Identify emerging issues, risks, and opportunities from the field and escalated them appropriately.

Our work includes envisioning and executing innovative electioneering campaigns, facilitating capacity building of grassroots cadre, and shaping governance. Our work leverages on-ground activities, data analytics, research, and new-age media as a force multiplier for the Prime Minister's messages and actions.

We comprise a diverse group of dedicated individuals including former management consultants, lawyers, engineers, political theorists, public policy professionals, and other varied sectors from premier institutes and corporates with the unified objective of meaningfully contributing to the polity of the nation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Indian politics, governance, and electoral processes.
• Hands-on experience conducting secondary research, surveys, interviews, or stakeholder interactions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work from the field as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of regional political dynamics and local languages is an added advantage.
