Job summary

GRAMA STRATEGY in Hyderabad seeks a Manager to drive political and campaign strategy within active electoral campaigns. You will coordinate field teams, plan activities with party leadership, and oversee end-to-end execution of campaigns.

The role demands strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders, and willingness to travel. Flexibility for evenings/weekends and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 academic institution. A degree in fields such as Political Science, Public Policy, Economics or similar is preferred.
• Strong problem solving abilities with a structured and analytical approach to handling ambiguity and fast-changing political contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams.
• High levels of initiative, ownership, and a bias for action, especially in high pressure environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively and be based out of Hyderabad
• Contextual understanding of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana's political, social, and cultural landscape is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in written and/or spoken Telugu would be preferred

About the Role:

Manager play a critical role in driving political and campaign strategy as part of project teams within active electoral campaigns. Working closely with both the internal organisation team and client representatives (typically political parties), they help shape, plan, and oversee the end to end execution of campaign strategies.

They are responsible for coordinating field teams, managing on-ground operations, and engaging with key stakeholders across constituencies, districts, and states. Regular interactions with political leaders, party functionaries, and campaign staff at multiple levels are a core part of the role.

While the position offers unmatched exposure to live political strategy and decision making, it also demands a high degree of professionalism, including strict confidentiality, strong client management skills, and consistent performance under pressure. The nature of political work means irregular hours including evenings and weekends and frequent travel should be expected.
