Job summary

MassMutual India is seeking an experienced SRE/Platform Engineer to own multi-month platform initiatives from design through production. You will shape cloud-native architecture, manage multi-tenant patterns, and drive standardization of tooling across teams.

The role requires hands-on IaC and GitOps proficiency, Kubernetes at scale, and strong communication to bridge engineering and business stakeholders. Enterprise compliance awareness is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE with at least 3 years focused on cloud infrastructure or developer platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes at scale and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in IaC and GitOps tools (Terraform or Pulumi, ArgoCD).
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML infrastructure (model serving, inference pipelines, GPU management, or LLM patterns).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
• Strong written communication to document designs and explain decisions to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, multi-month platform initiatives from design to production, managing ambiguity and risk.
• Standardise platform tooling and deployment patterns across engineering teams.
• Write clear design docs and ADRs; explain architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate across cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and enterprise contexts to ensure compliant, scalable platforms.

Job Description

• Proven ownership of complex, multi-month platform initiatives — you’ve part of them from whiteboard to production, managing ambiguity and technical risk throughout.
• Proficient in IaC and GitOps fluency — Terraform or Pulumi, ArgoCD — with experience standardising platform tooling and deployment patterns across engineering teams.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML infrastructure: model serving, inference pipelines, GPU resource management, or LLM integration patterns.
• Experience in enterprise environments with familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
• Strong written communication — you write clear design docs, maintain useful ADRs, and can explain architectural decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
