Job summary

Acuity Analytics is seeking a Fund Accounting Support for closed-ended/private equity funds. You will perform and review fund accounting activities across funds and SPVs, support NAV closes, review trial balances, accruals, journal entries and investor-level accounting.

You will also review capital activity, including calls, drawdowns, distributions, subscriptions and redemptions, and assist with fees, expenses, carried interest and waterfall calculations, as well as monitor valuations and FX

Responsibilities

• Perform and review fund accounting activities for closed-end private equity funds, feeder funds, SPVs and co-investment structures.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end NAV close, including trial balances, accruals, journal entries and investor-level accounting.
• Review capital activity: calls, drawdowns, distributions, transfers, subscriptions, redemptions and investor allocations.
• Calculate and review management fees, fund expenses, organizational expenses, transaction costs and fund-level accruals.
• Support carried interest, performance allocation and waterfall calculations per fund agreements and terms.
• Review investment activity including acquisitions, disposals, gains/losses, valuations and FX movements.
• Analyze cost of carry, financing costs, commitment fees, interest accruals and other investment-related expenses.

Job description

Fund Accounting Support (Close ended/Private Equity funds)

• Perform and review fund accounting activities for closed-end private equity funds, feeder funds, special purpose vehicles and co-investment structures.
• Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end NAV close process, including review of trial balances, accruals, journal entries, expense allocations and investor-level accounting.
• Review capital activity, including capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, transfers, subscriptions, redemptions and investor allocations.
• Calculate and review management fees, fund expenses, organizational expenses, transaction costs and other fund-level accruals.
• Support the preparation and review of carried interest, performance allocation and private equity waterfall calculations in accordance with fund agreements and investment terms.
• Review investment activity, including acquisitions, disposals, realized and unrealized gains or losses, portfolio valuations and foreign exchange movements.
• Analyze and calculate cost of carry, financing costs, commitment fees, interest accruals and other investment-related expenses where applicable.
