Job summary

Tesco Bengaluru Private Limited is seeking a Distribution Data & Insights Analyst to support inbound services, transport, route and fleet planning. The role focuses on producing and validating data outputs to assist planners in delivering smooth operations within Tesco's distribution processes.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain teams, apply CI tools where possible, and continuously improve output quality while balancing short-term projects with long-term initiatives in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with data extraction, transformation and loading in distribution contexts.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical frameworks.
• Willingness to learn Tesco distribution processes and CI tools.

About the roleRefer to ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible forJob Summary:To support the business in making informed decisions by producing tools and data which will enable the distribution teams withoperational activities related to inbound services like transport, driver, route and fleet planning. Overseeing processes to guarantee theoutput is checked and accurate.In this job, I’m accountable for:Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities:- Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco Distribution processes- Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge internally and in the market by applying CI tools and techniques- Extracting and transforming daily/weekly data to inbound distribution planners to plan and ensure smooth operations- Validating the output to ensure consistency and highlighting any potential issues- Responsible for checking and validating supplier performance to help drive improvement in line with the business goals and objective- Performing adhoc research and analysis to diagnose recent performance and operational issues to UK LST- Balancing and prioritising work across short-term projects and long-term initiatives- Staying up-to-date on relevant industry regulations, competitor news and share best practices- Collaborating with teams across the wider business, including Supply Chain and other fulfilment specialists, to identify current/potentialopportunities and develop the right solutions for our customers and our business-Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's- Solves problems by suggesting solution alternativesKey people and teams I work with in and outside of Tesco:People, budgets and other resources I am accountable forin my job:UK Distribution and Fulfilment TeamsNAUK Supply Chain teamsTransport PlannersOperational skills relevant for this job:Experience relevant for this job:- We need someone who is willing to learn about how and whyRelevant years of working experience in the field of Distribution,we do our processes.
