We're looking for a Senior Associate – Legal who’s part legal expert, part technologist, and fully focused on business enablement. You’ll streamline contracting, drive global privacy compliance, and champion the use of AI to reduce legal friction at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Accelerate with AI: Use GPT-powered tools and CLM systems to automate redlining, standardise clauses, and reduce contract turnaround time.
• Own the Contract Lifecycle: Draft, review, and negotiate global SaaS agreements (MSAs, DPAs, BAAs, NDAs, partner contracts) in close collaboration with Sales and Finance.
• Drive Privacy Compliance: Manage Sprinto’s posture on GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and emerging data regulations; coordinate DPIAs and vendor reviews.
• Mitigate Risk, Enable Growth: Identify legal risks in product and GTM initiatives—proposing clear, actionable, business-friendly solutions.
• Operate with Scale: Maintain playbooks, clause banks, and workflows that enable lean legal ops across time zones.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Product, Engineering, and RevOps on data-flow mapping, infosec posture, and customer commitments.
• Support IP & Governance: Assist with trademark filings, OSS reviews, and pre-litigation matters; liaise with external counsel as needed.
• Bring 2–4 years of experience in SaaS/tech law—especially around commercial contracting and licensing.
• Have hands-on experience with AI-powered legal tooling and a track record of shortening review cycles.
• Understand global privacy frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and how they apply to SaaS products.
• Are a strong negotiator who simplifies legal complexity into practical advice.
• Thrive in cross-functional, global environments and know how to prioritize what moves the needle.
• Default to enablement—“yes, and here’s how” is your approach.
• Bonus: Exposure to AI governance or compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
