Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a data analyst to transform ESG and financial data into actionable insights. You will produce analyses, reports, and models, and support development of new ESG data products.

The role requires 2+ years in data analysis, strong SQL/Python/R skills and Excel, plus the ability to prioritize and contribute to team goals. In-person interviews are required for final candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, particularly within ESG, financial data, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to assess urgency in tasks, prioritize effectively, and actively participate in team discussions to achieve common goals.
• Resourceful and solution-oriented, with the capacity to generate new ideas and adapt behavior based on different situations and team needs.
• External candidates in final interview stage must attend at least one in-person interview at a nearest S&P Global office before an offer.
