Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Gurugram, India, is seeking a senior data scientist to develop and deploy AI models using LLMs and Generative AI across business use cases. You will design pipelines on Azure, preprocess data with Python, and build REST APIs with Flask.

You will containerize applications with Docker, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of cloud and AI trends to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science experience with LLMs and Generative AI models across domains such as CPG, Retail, and Supply Chain.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models on Azure and cloud-based tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, model development, and evaluation.
• Experience with Dockerization for deploying and managing AI applications.
• Knowledge of Flask to build lightweight APIs for model integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, working with LLMs and Generative AI models across CPG, Retail, Supply Chain, etc. – e.g. customer churn/retention, route optimization, inventory planning, market mix modelling, etc.
• Hands‑on experience deploying AI/ML models on Azure and using cloud‑based tools.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in data manipulation, model building, and evaluation.
• Experience with Dockerization for deploying and managing AI applications.
• Knowledge of Flask to build lightweight APIs for model integration.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
• Good communication skills to work with stakeholders and present technical results effectively.
