Job summary

Master Handlers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to oversee the completion of industrial machinery assemblies, ensure adherence to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic specifications, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

You will supervise technicians and fitters, read drawings and BOMs, plan manpower and tools, and coordinate with engineering and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 35 years of experience in industrial machinery or heavy equipment assembly.
• Minimum 13 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assembly operations of industrial machines (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Ensure assemblies meet technical specs and quality standards.
• Plan manpower, tools, and materials for tasks.
• Monitor production schedules for timely completion.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and quality teams.
• Perform in-process inspections and final checks.
• Troubleshoot on shop floor.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance.
• Maintain assembly documentation.
• Train and mentor assembly technicians.
• Drive Lean/5S/Kaizen improvements.

Job Summary

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assembly of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring that production targets, technical specifications, and quality standards are met. This role involves supervising technicians and fitters, coordinating with engineering and quality teams, and ensuring safe and efficient assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily assembly operations of industrial machines (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems).
• Interpret engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure machines are assembled according to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and materials for assembly tasks.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality control teams.
• Conduct in-process inspections and final assembly checks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and assembly issues on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE.
• Maintain documentation such as assembly reports, checklists, and work orders.
• Train and mentor assembly technicians and new employees.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills
