Job summary

Globant is seeking a Senior Architect to design and deliver scalable Python-based AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions for enterprise customers. The role combines AI architecture, solution consulting, and hands-on engineering.

You will work with business and technology stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, define solution architecture, and guide production-ready AI development. Focus areas include Python, GenAI, LLM/RAG, AI platforms, and AI integrations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or AI leadership.
• 5+ years in generative AI, deep learning, or NLP.
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to define enterprise AI strategy and architectures.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are looking for an Senior Architect to design and deliver scalable Python based AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for enterprise customers.The role combines AI architecture, solution consulting and hands-on engineering. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, define solution architecture and guide the development of production-ready AI solutions.
Depending on the project, the role may focus on Python,GenAI, LLM/RAG, Agentic AI, AI/ML, AI platforms or AI integrations.

• 15+ years of experience , 5+ years experience in generative artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing
• Experience leading 30-40 member teams on end-to-end artificial intelligence or generative artificial intelligence transformation programs
• Experience defining enterprise artificial intelligence strategy and designing enterprise architectures across data, generative artificial intelligence, security, and microservices-based environments
• Experience building solutions using Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms- Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Foundry and Open AI
• Experience with large language model optimization techniques including low-rank adaptation (LoRA), quantized low-rank adaptation (QLoRA), quantization, transformer architectures, and prompt engineering
• Experience with machine learning operations (MLOps), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI frameworks, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma
  

Preferred:

• Azure AI Engineer /Architect Certificate
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and artificial intelligence governance practices
• Experience mentoring senior engineering, architecture, or artificial intelligence teams across large-scale programs
  

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, AI/ML or related technology roles.
• 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML, Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.
• Strong experience with Python and/or modern programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings and AI APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices and enterprise integrations.
• Good understanding of AI security, evaluation, testing and responsible AI.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Agentic AI / Multi-Agent Systems.
• Experience with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.
• Experience with vector databases and enterprise search.
• Experience with MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Search or similar data/AI platforms.
