Job summary

Jacobs in Pune is seeking a Senior Architect – Data Centre to lead architectural design from concept to construction, with expertise in space planning, master planning, schematic and working drawings, plus 2D/3D presentations, BOQs and specifications.

The role requires managing BIM/Revit teams (LOD 100–400), reviewing vendor drawings, and preparing tenders and cost estimates, while ensuring high-quality, timely delivery and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.Arch. Degree from recognized university, Registered with COA.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial projects.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing, new energy, automotive/pharma sectors.
• Data Centre and BIM coordination experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM/Revit modeling teams (LOD 100–400) and ensure quality.
• Review vendor drawings and prepare tenders and cost estimates.
• Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery and site coordination.
• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for design delivery.

Your impact

A Senior Architect – Data Centre is responsible for leading architectural design and execution across all project phases, from concept to construction. The role involves expertise in space planning, master planning, and detailed design development, including schematic, statutory, and working drawings, as well as 2D/3D presentations, BOQs, and specifications.

The position requires strong knowledge of building codes (NBC, byelaws, international standards), sustainability practices, LEED requirements, and data centre-specific standards such as Uptime Institute tiers. The architect drives façade, interiors, plumbing, and sanitation design while ensuring technical compliance and coordination with global engineering partners.

Key responsibilities include managing BIM/Revit modeling teams (LOD 100–400), reviewing vendor drawings, preparing tenders and cost estimates, and ensuring high-quality, timely project delivery. The role also involves site coordination, resolving construction queries, maintaining quality standards, and effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders while mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to processes.

• B.Arch. Degree from recognized university, Registered with COA.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial projects in the domain of
• Advance manufacturing of Chemical, fine chemicals, specialty chemicals industrial projects
• New energy businesses like EV, PV, and associates industrial projects
• Automotive industries, pharmaceutical plants, FMCG projects
• Data Centre projects hyper scale and retail scale.
• Excellent domain knowledge of Master planning, preparation of concept layouts, working drawings and good for construction drawings, Pre-Engineered Building works,
• Awareness of 3D platforms like Revit 3D, Sketch up, Lumion, Twin motion
