Job summary

Jobtailor in Pune, India seeks a senior IT solutions professional to lead pre-sales for AIOps and observability initiatives. You will partner with sales, bid management, and delivery teams to translate client pain points into outcome-driven solutions.

You will architect AIOps landscapes, embed agentic AI into IT operations, and own the technical response from RFP to handover, leveraging cloud, DevOps, and ML techniques.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years in IT across design, engineering, and delivery with 3+ years in pre-sales/solutioning.
• Strong IT operations, infrastructure management, and application performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tooling, ServiceNow preferred.
• Experience with enterprise AIOps platforms: Aisera, Moogsoft, BigPanda, etc.
• Scripting and REST API integration; automation workflows.
• Observability and Cloud/DevOps with data from monitoring tools.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP; containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• DevOps/SRE practices and tools.
• Understanding of ML for IT Operations.
• Generative and agentic AI fluency.
• RPA/Intelligent Automation knowledge is a plus.
• RFP/proposal ownership and pricing for large global deals.
• Strong client and multi-stakeholder discussion skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 12–15 years in IT across design, engineering, implementation, and pre‑sales with 3+ years in pre‑sales/solutioning of AIOps use cases for enterprise/global clients.
• Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure management, and application performance monitoring; sound ITIL foundations.
• Hands‑on experience with ITSM tooling (ServiceNow preferred) and across enterprise AIOps platforms — Aisera, Moogsoft, BigPanda, ServiceNow ITOM/AIOps, HPE OpsRamp, ScienceLogic.
• Scripting (JavaScript or similar), low‑code/no‑code platforms, and hands‑on REST API integration and automation workflow experience.
• Observability, Cloud & DevOps expertise integrating and leveraging data from monitoring/logging/alerting tools — Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana), Splunk, Nagios, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, OpenTelemetry.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud — AWS, Azure, or GCP; working knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• DevOps & SRE practices and tooling — Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Helm, CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of ML for IT Operations — anomaly detection, predictive analytics, event correlation, and automated root‑cause analysis.
• Generative & Agentic AI fluency: LLMs, embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, multi‑agent/agent‑orchestration, and LLM‑powered automation (AI workflows/function‑calling).
• Knowledge of RPA/Intelligent Automation (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus.
• Proven RFP/proposal ownership, effort estimation, and pricing/benchmarking for large global deals in IT sourcing.
• Ability to drive client and multi‑stakeholder discussions, handle objections, and propose workaround solutions.
