Job summary

You will own end-to-end AR activities and contribute to process improvements. Key responsibilities include independently resolving denials, analyzing aging patterns, and aligning with major payers to recover revenue.

Job Opening: Senior AR Caller

We are hiring an experienced AR Caller (Night Shift) with 3 to 5 years of experience for Chennai (Nungambakkam) location.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Must have experience with outpatient claims. Experience with outpatient behavioral health or ABA claims highly preferred.
• Can independently handle complex AR, resolve issues, analyze trends, support the team, and take ownership of results.
• Strong AR knowledge: Good understanding of the complete AR process, including claim status, denials, underpayments, appeals, refunds, and complex accounts.
• Complex account handling: Able to independently work on high-value, aged, and complicated AR accounts.
• Denial expertise: Can analyze denial trends, identify root causes, and determine the appropriate resolution.
• Payer expertise: Strong knowledge of major payers and their claim-processing/follow-up requirements.
• Independent decision-making: Can determine the appropriate next action without frequent supervision.
• High-quality documentation: Maintains clear, complete, and audit-ready account notes.
• Escalation management: Identifies critical issues and escalates them with the required details and supporting information.
• Productivity & quality: Consistently achieves both productivity and quality targets.
• Aged AR management: Focuses on reducing aging and prioritizes accounts based on value, age, and recovery potential.
• Denial/AR analysis: Can identify recurring issues and provide actionable feedback to the team or management.
• Mentoring: Supports Junior Associates by answering process-related questions and sharing best practices.
• Training capability: Can conduct process refreshers or brief training sessions for new/existing team members.
• Client communication: Can confidently handle client queries and explain account-level issues when required.
• Process improvement: Suggests improvements to increase collections, reduce denials, and improve overall AR performance.

NOTE

Transportation

• Transportation: Cab facilities are not provided. Candidates must arrange their own transportation for daily commute.
