Job summary

Pega Hyderabad is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to HR applications, building and maintaining integrations with enterprise systems such as SuccessFactors and identity platforms. You will work in a SCRUM team on Pega Infinity and Java, with an 80/20 split between development and design, while applying AI-enabled capabilities to enhance learning and productivity.

• 5–6 years of experience developing applications on the Pega platform.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science Engineering.
• Minimum CSSA certification and strong Java/JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with React and modern frontend tech is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into feature design, implementation, testing, deployment and support.
• Collaborate in an Agile SCRUM team with engineers.

As part of the HR Applications team, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, integration, and support of a suite of employee-focused applications that drive engagement, recognition, performance conversations, and talent management across the organization.

Who You Are:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design.
• Be able to implement code that meets engineering excellence standard with minimal oversight
• Good at development of highly scalable and performant features using Pega Platform
• Ability to take an ownership of EPICS and sprints and Working experience in an agile/scrum team environment
• Passionate about learning new technologies and innovation
• Demonstrated ability to logically identify and analyze/solve problems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including poise in pressure situations.

What You've Accomplished:

• Overall experience of 5 to 6 years of experience developing the applications using Pega platform.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or a related field.
• Bachelors engineering in Computer Science or similar field.
• Have a very good knowledge on Pega platform with minimum CSSA certified.
• Basic programming/coding experience in any programming language is required
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and coding fundamentals is expected. Experience with JavaScript and React will be an added advantage.
