Job summary

Pega is inviting engineers to join the Digital COE, working on the Pega Infinity platform to develop external portals for our community ecosystem.

You will collaborate with talented engineers and product owners across the globe to build scalable Pega applications, with 80% focus on development and 20% on design, within an Agile SCRUM team.

We look for 4–6 years of experience in Pega, a Bachelor's in Engineering (CS preferred), and CSSA certification; strong JavaScript/React skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience developing applications using Pega platform
• Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably CS Engineering
• Have a very good knowledge of Pega platform with minimum CSSA certification
• Basic programming/coding experience in any programming language is required
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and coding fundamentals; React a plus

• Leverage best-in-class technologies to translate requirements into feature design, implementation, testing, deployment and support
• Work in a collaborative Agile SCRUM team environment

As a member of Digital COE group, you will be working in one of the most innovative group that leverages latest features of Pega Infinity platform to develop applications that provide external portal to our community ecosystem. You will work closely with talented engineers and product owners across the globe to build a highly scalable Pega Applications.

• In this role, youll help us design, develop, implement applications using Pega Infinity platform that provide external facing portals to our community ecosystem ,e.g MyPega(my.pega.com).

Who You Are:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design.
• Be able to implement code that meets engineering excellence standard with minimal oversight
• Good at development of highly scalable and performant features using Pega Platform
• Ability to take an ownership of EPICS and sprints and Working experience in an agile/scrum team environment
• Passionate about learning new technologies and innovation
• Demonstrated ability to logically identify and analyze/solve problems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including poise in pressure situations.

What You've Accomplished:

• Overall experience of 4 to 6 years of experience developing the applications using Pega platform.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or a related field.
• Bachelors engineering in Computer Science or similar field.
• Have a very good knowledge on Pega platform with minimum CSSA certified.
• Basic programming/coding experience in any programming language is required
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and coding fundamentals is expected. Experience with JavaScript and React will be an added advantage.
