JOB Description

This role requires an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual interested in working closely with Sales Teams to support them both technically and commercially in the position of Tendering Engineer in Air Compressors, air treatment and solutions.

The Application Engineer will cooperate with the sales team to design and select suitable offerings involving compressors and auxiliaries (dryers, cooling towers, filters). He or she will prepare the technical and competitive commercial offer to the customer.

They will interface between Sales, factories, and engineering during the negotiation stage and be responsible for compiling suitable and accurate price‑make‑up schedules.

They will also manage any third‑party suppliers to achieve the required costs/quality/schedule expected by the customer during the quotation phase.

The tendering engineer is also responsible for transferring the order to the project team which will follow the project execution.

Important note: This being a business‑critical support function, engineers taking up this role need to have product knowledge and should be able to handle various complexities linked to ETO enquiries.
