Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement Appian‑based enterprise applications, lead delivery teams, and ensure adherence to design, testing, and deployment best practices.

You will conduct workshops, convert epics into user stories, collaborate with architects and business analysts, and build reusable components to improve scalability and maintain maintainability in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Appian development and implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in Appian object types, query rules, and expression rules.
• Experience designing process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, and forms.
• Proficiency in SQL and database design concepts.
• Knowledge of Appian integration services, APIs, and web services.
• Experience building enterprise-grade workflow automation.

What You'll Do:

• Build Appian applications including interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, and integrations.
• Work extensively with Appian object types, query rules, constant rules, and expression rules.
• Guide Appian developers within the delivery team and ensure adherence to design, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of Appian-based solutions.
• Perform impact analysis and application performance management activities.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for accessing data from database tables and views.
• Analyze, design, and develop process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, queries, forms, gateways, smart services, integration services, and web services.
• Design technical solutions and lead small development teams.
• Conduct workshops and break down epics into user stories.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into Appian solutions.
• Develop reusable and modularized components to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Implement Appian development best practices and governance standards.
