Job summary

CBRE Business Services Organisation (BSO) in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior AP Analyst to partner with client accounts and deliver tasks under SLAs. You will oversee AP processes and collaborate across finance, operations and vendors.

The role requires 4–6 years of AP experience, strong Excel and English, experience in SSC/GBS, and the ability to work flexible hours to join calls with US leadership.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of AP experience.
• Business English proficiency.
• Accounting/Finance background required for reporting roles.
• Experience in SSC/GBS finance operations.
• Experience in large multinational companies.
• Knowledge of Real Estate domain (nice to have).
• Strong Excel data-massaging skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF).
• Proficiency with Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Exposure to financial data mining tools (TM1) (for reporting).
• Able to work independently and collaboratively; drive process improvements.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to management.
• Flexible to join calls with US leadership at night when needed.

Job Title – Senior AP Analyst

About The Role

A commercial finance professional is a finance business partner who provides key support to assist management in ensuring a smooth financial operation to support our client contracts. As a trusted business partner, the person will be liaising with multiple functions across the client accounts with CBRE to deliver tasks in accordance with SLAs.

What You’ll Do

• Understanding of basic accounting
• Overseeing vendor PO issuance, tracking & status management
• Vendor lifecycle management
• Processing Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and liaising with operations
• Validating invoicing, review status and highlighting delays or discrepancies with finance lead and operations
• AP escalation & payment processing
• Generating Open PO reports and other month end reports for finance leads
• T&E expense review and processing

What You'll Need

• 4-6 years of experience in AP
• Business Level English proficiency
• Good to have Accounting / Finance educational background (must for reporting roles)
• Good to have prior experience with financial operations in a SSC/GBS environment
• Good to have prior experience working in large, matrix style multi-national companies
• Nice to have knowledge/experience in Real Estate business.
• High degree of familiarity with Excel especially on data massaging functions i.e. Pivots, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, Concatenation etc. VBA knowledge is not required.
• Familiar with all Office applications including Word, Outlook & Teams.
• Good to have prior experience with financial data mining software (Eg. TM1) (for reporting team)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A team player, with a collaborative approach to work with various teams within the organization.
• Engaged and committed to continual process improvements.
• Strong communication skills with experience in presenting financial data to management.
• Ability to work in a flexible working environment, especially when needed to join calls with US leadership at night when needed.
