Job summary

CBRE Business Services Organisation (BSO) in Hyderabad seeks a Finance Sr Analyst to partner with client accounts, ensuring smooth financial operations and timely SLAs. You will liaise across functions to deliver financial tasks and provide analysis for management.

The role requires strong English, accounting/finance background, and prior SSC/GBS experience in a large multinational. Proficiency in Excel and TM1 is advantageous. Willingness to work night calls with US leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Business English proficiency is required.
• Accounting/Finance educational background preferred for reporting.
• Prior financial operations experience in SSC/GBS environment welcomed.
• Experience in large multinational corporate structures advantageous.
• Knowledge of Real Estate business is a plus.
• Strong Excel data-massaging skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Familiarity with Office applications (Word, Outlook & Teams).
• Experience with financial data mining software like TM1 is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Willingness to join calls with US leadership outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Understand full P&L reporting, analysis & month-end close deliverables.
• Handle invoicing and vendor management processes.
• Review month-end cost accruals with operations teams.
• Perform month-end close in line with GAAP and contracts.
• Act as point of contact for on-account team financial queries.
• Provide P&L analysis and month-end position updates to finance leaders.
• Complete BS reconciliations and inputs for reviews (MBR/MOR/QBR).
• Support budgeting and forecast cycles.

Job Title – Finance Sr Analyst

About The Role

A commercial finance professional is a finance business partner who provides key support to assist management in ensuring a smooth financial operation to support our client contracts. As a trusted business partner, the person will be liaising with multiple functions across the client accounts with CBRE to deliver tasks in accordance with SLAs.

What You’ll Do

• Understanding full P&L reporting, analysis & month end closing deliverables
• Familiar with invoicing and vendor management processes
• Reviewing month-end cost accruals with operations teams
• Performing month-end close responsibilities in accordance with client contract and GAAP
• Acting as a point of contact for on-account team queries on financials & audit requests
• Providing P&L analysis and headlights on month end financial position to relevant teams (finance lead / corporate finance)
• Complete BS reconciliations and inputs for financial reviews (MBR/MOR/QBR)
• Support with budget/ forecast cycles

What You'll Need

• Business Level English proficiency
• Good to have Accounting / Finance educational background (must for reporting roles)
• Good to have prior experience with financial operations in a SSC/GBS environment
• Good to have prior experience working in large, matrix style multi-national companies
• Nice to have knowledge/experience in Real Estate business.
• High degree of familiarity with Excel especially on data massaging functions i.e. Pivots, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, Concatenation etc.
• VBA knowledge is not required.
• Familiar with all Office applications including Word, Outlook & Teams.
• Good to have prior experience with financial data mining software (Eg. TM1) (for reporting team)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A team player, with a collaborative approach to work with various teams within the organization.
• Engaged and committed to continual process improvements.
• Strong communication skills with experience in presenting financial data to management.
• Ability to work in a flexible working environment, especially when needed to join calls with US leadership at night when needed.
