Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and establish automation development standards, frameworks, and best practices.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide technical guidance to teams.

We are looking for a Senior Ansible Automation Architect / Lead Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Ansible and Python. The role combines technical leadership, automation standards/governance, architecture, and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and establish automation development standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Design and develop scalable automation solutions using Ansible and Python.
• Review and approve automation code and technical designs for quality, consistency, and scalability.
• Act as the technical authority for automation architecture and code quality.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Lead automation initiatives and ensure solutions follow defined governance and design standards.
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

Required Skills:

• 9-11 years of experience in automation/DevOps engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and Python development.
• Experience designing or maintaining Ansible automation frameworks at scale.
• Proven experience in automation standards, governance, architecture, or technical leadership.
• Strong code review and design review experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Strong programming, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
