Job summary

Antal International in Pune seeks an experienced Software Technical Leader (MTS III) to design and implement large-scale Android applications for in-flight entertainment systems. The role focuses on modern Android development, scalable architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust multimedia software.

The candidate will participate in API integrations, CI/CD practices, and performance optimization while mentoring a team and maintaining code quality across lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, scalable application design, with knowledge of MVP/MVC.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Navigation, Hilt/Dagger, WorkManager, Coroutines, Flow/StateFlow/SharedFlow and modern Android development practices.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, reusable components and SDK development.
• Experience in performance optimization, ANR/crash debugging, profiling, memory management and concurrency issues.
• Exposure to offline-first architecture, API integrations, CI/CD, unit testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• AWS cloud experience preferred.
• Prior experience with multimedia applications, audio/video streaming servers or clients is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan engineering activities, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in engineering documentation and customer/stakeholder interactions.
• Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze and resolve technical issues using established engineering practices.
