Jobgether SRL, listing on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Senior Android Engineer based in India. You will own end-to-end Android features, collaborating with product and backend teams to deliver robust, scalable mobile experiences.

You should have 7+ years in software development with at least 5 years Android, strong Kotlin/Java skills, and a solid foundation in architecture patterns (MVC/MVVM/VIPER). Remote work within India is supported.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a solid understanding of modern Android development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, with strong computer science fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of Android fundamentals, including Jetpack components, multithreading, networking, memory management, and data storage.
• Practical experience with architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER.
• Proven ability to optimize application performance, investigate crashes, and improve memory and battery efficiency.
• Experience with Android libraries and services such as Volley, Glide, Lottie, and Firebase, including Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have: experience with the Google Play submission and review process.
• Nice to have: familiarity with email protocols such as SMTP and IMAP.
• Nice to have: exposure to Linux environments or backend services.
• Nice to have: experience with hybrid mobile development using React Native.
