Job summary

Voltech HR Services (VHRS) is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join a hybrid team in Thiruvananthapuram. You will design and implement native Android applications in Kotlin, applying MVVM and Clean Architecture to deliver scalable features.

You will mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases. The role targets end-to-end delivery with CI/CD and adherence to Material Design guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in native Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong expertise in MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience writing unit and UI tests with JUnit and Espresso.
• Ability to mentor and set coding standards across distributed teams.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, caching, error handling and security.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and modern Android tooling.
• Knowledge of Google Material Design guidelines and accessible UI principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop native Android apps using Kotlin and Android Studio.
