Job summary

Voltech HR Services (VHRS) is seeking an experienced Android developer to own native app features using Kotlin. You will design with MVVM/Clean Architecture, implement Jetpack components, and collaborate with design and QA across agile teams.

You will drive code quality, participate in code reviews, and ensure smooth CI/CD deployments (GitHub Actions/Bitrise) with Gradle. Familiarity with Play Store releases is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Android app development with Kotlin.
• Experience with MVVM/Clean Architecture and Gradle.
• Proficient in unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso) and Play Store release workflow.
• Mentor teams, set coding standards, and drive technical decisions.
• Familiar with Jetpack components and modern Android tooling.
• CI/CD exposure with GitHub Actions or Bitrise.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in native Android application development with strong expertise in Kotlin. Skilled in applying architecture and design patterns such as MVVM / Clean Architecture, with the ability to integrate third-party libraries using Gradle.
  
• Experienced in writing unit and UI tests using JUnit and Espresso, and in delivering end-to-end solutions including design, development, testing, deployment, and Play Store release management.
  
• Ability to mentor, set coding standards, and drive technical decisions across distributed teams.
  
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and networking best practices including caching, error handling, and security.
  
• Experience with code reviews, pull requests, and collaborative development in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
  
• Familiarity with Jetpack components (e.g., Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, Room) and modern Android development tools.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise for automated builds and deployments.
  
• Strong understanding of Googles Material Design Guidelines and commitment to building accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
